Candle lit by Marsha Maxam Condolences to my classmate and great friend of 50+ years. You had a fruitful life with your soulmate and I know he will be greatly missed.
Candle lit by Molly Cary I worked with Dan at ODOT. He was always helpful and he always had wise words. But he was a little tricky too. Dan was instrumental in getting our Emergency Situation Room set up. This is a noteworthy effort because equipment is expensive and this was a long time ago, when these sorts of set ups weren't common place. Dan was able to tap into the right person, at the right time and "explain" the need in a way that produced funding and equipment - a little tricky. He was great about sharing his experiences in a way that related to me and helped me learn. I missed him when he went to Washington. God bless.
Candle lit by Alicia Barnett My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss. May you be comforted in the Father's arms.
Candle lit by Kathryn Ryan Dan was so generous and he contributed so much to so many people - mentoring them, supporting them through hard times, and challenging them to excel. He is deeply missed and the world is a sadder place.

Candle lit by Charlotte and John From the beginning of our band days, through the personal and troubled days you stood with me, and all of our adult years since you have always been a part of my heart. Life became Dan and Sandy! Impossible to have one without the other. An awesome bond that defines true love and commitment. Two awesome people. The days now are difficult and sad. In time the void you surely feel will fill again with all the memories of the life, love and joy you shared. Because it is still Dan and Sandy as he will be with you always.
