James was a hard worker that spent his life in dedication to taking care of others in emergency rooms, chemical dependency, to taking care of his grandson Romeo. He was a loving, protective, thoughtful, giving, intelligent, and strong husband, father, grandfather, and friend. All that were blessed to know him grew to love him.

James loved laughing, family time, doing projects around the house, making family videos, debuting as a rock star, surprising his loved ones with gifts, and going for rides to enjoy a cup of coffee. He greeted you with a twinkle in his eyes and welcomed you home. James was a man whom always gave from his heart and never asked for anything in return, a true quality of a gentleman.
