Danny Lee Adams passed away at his home in Hubbard, Oregon on October 30, 2019 at the age of 60 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Born December 1958 in San Bernardino, CA, Danny enjoyed photography, camping and fishing, traveling to places like Yosemite and Northern Idaho, and even built and raced his own battery-powered RC cars in an outdoor track league.
For much of his life, Danny worked as a commercial driver: He moved to Blue Jay, California and worked as a tow-truck driver, where he met his wife, Ruth (also a tow-truck driver at the time) in 1982.They were married in 1983 and had two children.Danny also spent time as a long-haul truck driver. He was divorced in 1996 and moved to Oregon where he worked as a test-driver for a company that performed research and development on new semi-truck engines.He finished his career as a school bus driver for the Woodburn School District.
Danny was preceded in death by his father Almos, his mother Norma & stepfather Robert, and his brother Donald.He is survived by his sister, Susan and brother-in-law Mark, his son Josh and daughter Sarah, and his nephew Jeffrey.
The family is planning a private service in the spring.
